1. What is Milident Ottawa?
Milident Ottawa is the former Echo Lab, now operating as a division of Milident Dental Laboratory based in Gatineau.
Milident Ottawa provides clinics with a new convenient way to access the full-service and quality standards of our Milident flagship in Gatineau without the extra drive.
2. What services are available to clients of Milident Ottawa?
Before under the former Echo Lab, focus was on service and support of analog workflows such as PFM restorations and e.max pressed restorations.
Now, in addition, as a division of a full-service laboratory, Milident Ottawa provides clients with a full range of digital and analog services such as: Dentures, Orthodontic appliances, Relines and Repairs, Implant Restorations, All crown types including zirconia, Printed Reference Models, and Digital diagnostic wax-ups.
3. Where is my work completed?
Analog cases and patient shading appointments are handled locally in Ottawa. All other case types are completed at Milident’s Gatineau facility by the same technicians, using the same workflows and quality standards.
4. Does this change how I submit cases or who I communicate with?

5. What is the impact to case turnaround times if I use the Milident Ottawa location?
For a majority of the cases, the turnaround time is identical to our main lab.
Same day relines and repair requests require special handling and/or could require an additional business day to turnaround.
6. Is local pick-up and drop-off available?
Yes. Milident Ottawa offers convenient local pick-up and drop-off for Ottawa-area clinics. We are open 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.
7. Does the Ottawa location impact service at Milident Gatineau?
No. Capacity, staffing, turnaround times, and service levels at Milident Gatineau remain unchanged.
